SERVICES PROVIDED

Acupuncture: The insertion of tiny sterile (and disposable) needles at specific points on the body.

Cupping: This involves a localized suction produced by heating a small glass cup. The cup is turned upside-down to be placed over a specific area. The vacuum created by the lack of oxygen anchors the cup to the skin and pulls it upward on the inside of the glass as the air inside the jar cools. Drawing up the skin opens up the skin’s pores to encourage blood circulation, promote cell repair, and create an avenue for toxins to be drawn out of the body by stimulating the immune response.

Heat Treatment with a TDP Lamp: This is used to warm an area of the body to promote blood circulation, improve the lymphatic system function, and accelerate the natural healing process of the body.

Gua Sha: Gentle scraping on the skin surface using a smooth-edged instrument to increase the microcirculation of soft tissue, which increases blood flow and reduces inflammation.

Electro-Acupuncture: A mild electric micro-current (similar to a TENS treatment) used to stimulate the acupuncture points.

Acupressure/Myofascial Release:   Hands on bodywork techniques that work to restore normal movement of the body by releasing restrictions in fascia and muscles.

Earthly Aromatic Essential Oil Drip: Not a massage-Technique used for the application of therapeutic grade essential oils for inflammation in the body. A layering technique of five or more essential oils starting at the base of the spine up to the neck.

Infrared Sauna: Uses infrared light to heat your body while the air around you stays unchanged. An infrared sauna is a dry heat rather than the traditional steam sauna. Beneficial uses for an infrared sauna are: pain management for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sore muscles, and fibromyalgia. Additional benefits are lower blood pressure, stress reduction, and skin rejuvenation.

PEMF Therapy (Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy): During this therapy you are in a relaxed position on a massage table. The PEMF therapy sends electromagnetic pulses through your body by generating them in a set of coils. These coils are electrically charged and, when activated, release the PEMF waves. When the body is exposed to PEMF, it can heal the body at the cellular level. This therapy also incorporates infrared heat and infrared light. Some of the benefits that can result are: improved circulation throughout the body, toxin release, pain reduction, arthritis and stiffness relief, increase in energy and an overall sense of wellbeing.
